I was too afraid to show my drawings to my doctors when I was going to see people for my mental issues, and I don't even draw really odd stuff. I think it would have been crushing for me to have a reaction like that.
I wonder how she would have reacted if any person off the street gave her such a zine and said they made it--ie: how she would have read it without the context of your anxieties.
